Subscription Tiers

DevSpeak offers four subscription tiers designed to scale with your needs — from individual developers experimenting with AI-powered translation to enterprise teams integrating DevSpeak into their CI/CD pipelines.

\* Free-tier managed translations are limited by an hourly request cap rather than a monthly token allowance.

Document translation limits are cumulative per billing period, not per file. A single upload is additionally capped at 10 MB on every tier.

Free Tier

The Free tier provides unlimited text translations on the managed model path, subject to an hourly request cap. Free users can also bring their own API key (BYOK) for any supported provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or OpenAI-compatible).

    • Vibecoder Tier

    The Vibecoder tier lifts the Free hourly cap into a monthly managed token allowance and adds document translation, iterative refinement, custom instructions, and Context Projects.

    What's included (in addition to Free):

  • Document translation up to 100 MB per period
  • 25 iterative refinements per month
  • Custom instructions (up to 10,000 characters)
  • 2,000,000 managed tokens per month
  • Context Projects (up to 3 projects, 25 assets each)
  • Model selection across the managed model catalog

    • Managed Models

    DevSpeak's own model selection is identical across every plan — your plan changes your allowance, not which models you can reach. Translations run on a curated default, and if that model is unavailable another one takes over so your request still completes.

    You can pin a specific model from the Model control in the translation workspace. Pinning is useful when you want reproducible output, or when you want to compare how two models handle the same requirement.

    Upgrading Your Plan

    To upgrade your subscription:

    1. Open Settings from the user menu.

    2. Navigate to the Billing tab.

    3. Select the plan you want and complete checkout.

    When you interact with a gated feature on the Free tier, a pricing overlay will appear with direct upgrade options.

    Feature Gating

    Features that require a higher tier display a visual indicator and a pricing overlay when accessed. This design allows you to explore the full interface while clearly communicating which features are available at your current tier.
