Navigation Panel: Translate Text vs. Translate Files vs. History
The Navigation Panel on the left side of the DevSpeak dashboard is your primary means of moving between different features.
1. Translate Text (Active Mode)
This is the default view. It provides a split-pane interface where you paste informal requirements into the left textarea and receive formal technical specifications on the right.
Use Case: Rapidly converting short descriptions, feature requests, or bug reports into structured documentation.
Key Features: Real-time word count tracking, contextual placeholder text, and immediate feedback.2. Translate Files (Document Translation)
This feature allows you to process entire documents (PDF, Markdown, TXT) up to 10MB in size.
Use Case: Translating comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), product requirement documents (PRDs), or legacy documentation into modern technical specifications.
Key Features: Drag-and-drop interface, multi-format parsing, chunking strategy for large documents, and formatting preservation.3. History (Translation Archive)
The History view provides a chronological list of all your previous translations, complete with input and output previews.
Use Case: Auditing past translations, re-using successful prompts, or comparing different configuration settings.
Key Features: Paginated list, metadata (timestamp, settings, latency), and actions (view full translation, export output, re-run).4. Sign Out
