DevSpeak provides a comprehensive translation history, allowing you to browse and review all your previous translations in a chronological list.

What is Translation History?

Translation History is a feature that allows you to audit past translations, re-use successful prompts, or compare different configuration settings. It provides a searchable list of all your previous translations, complete with metadata (output format, tech context, timestamp) and actions (open in editor, copy result).

How to Browse Translation History

To browse your translation history, navigate to the "History" view in the Navigation Panel. You can scroll through the list, view the input and output previews, and click on a translation to view the full details.

The translation history provides a valuable resource for auditing past translations and re-using successful prompts. It allows you to track your progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize your translation workflow.

When browsing translation history, consider the following best practices:

  • Use search: Use the search box to quickly find specific translations by prompt, output, or format.
  • Review and refine: Review the generated technical specifications and refine them as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Export and share: Export your translation history as a JSON backup from Account Settings (Export My Data) for further analysis or integration with other tools.
